Product Description

Every year for almost 20 years, Dan Block and Randy DiMarco host "52" (also known as the "Buffalo Gathering.")  52 magicians descend on the VFW lodge outside of Buffalo for three days of dollar beers and card tricks.  This year, there were only four events - all lectures (one Thursday, two Friday, and my Saturday lecture).  My lecture started at noon (which in 52-speak means 1:00) and like each lecture, I was given the entire afternoon. These notes cover the section up until the intermission (around 4:30).

They asked me to do some of my older sleight of hand material.  These are the notes that accumulated both old and new (mostly) sleight of hand material.

See the photos for a table of contents and where the material was first published.

46 pages, 100 photographs, first edition 2017.

From the Copyright page:  "Sparing no expense, 52 is bound in the finest buffalo leather I could locate in Cary, NC.  As it turns out, there aren't as many buffalo in Cary as one might initially think.  I had planned on flying a few in, but then I calculated the cost of the first-class airplane tickets.  Of course the cost was not enough to detour me, but it did make me think about the environment and the amount of gas necessary to get buffalo airborne.  (Apparently "buffalo wings" is a marketing label that applies to something different altogether.  Who knew?)  As a result, I decided to make the more environmentally friendly choice to let the buffalo stay where they were and, instead, I used the finest in genuine photographed buffalo leather for the cover.  I hope saving the planet for future magicians makes you feel as good as it does me."
