(Blank Both Sides)

     This one-deck wonder is the latest in state-of-the-art decks.  It is produced using plastic cards guaranteed to produce a lifetime of joy for one of us.  In effect, the magician removes a blank deck of cards -- blank both sides.  "I was so anxious to show you the next effect, I didn't wait for the cards to be printed.  Because they are blank, I can't actually have you select one, but we can use these cards to create a playing card."  With the spectator controlling all the choices relating to suit and value, a card is created in the most fair manner imaginable.

     "Now, my hands are empty.  Wouldn't it be amazing if I had your card in my wallet right now?"  The magician reaches for his wallet and removes a blank playing card.  "There it is!  Uh... it's from a matching deck."  The audience realizes they have been taken in but the magician charges forward.  "I know what you're thinking.  You're thinking, sure, it's amazing that I would have a card that matches the one you would select in my wallet.  But you are wondering if there is anything else I can do with this.  Watch."   The magician waves the blank card from the wallet over the blank deck and then spreads the deck.  A single card has printed and it's the selected card.  

     "As amazing as that is, if I wave the card just printed over the matching card, they now match on both sides."  The magician turns over the blank card removed from the wallet and its face is now the same as the selected card.

     The Details.  All cards/gaffs are printed in plastic.  There are no pencil dots, crimps, etc. used.  The effect uses an entirely new method which was first explained in the Semi-Automatic Card Tricks series in 2015.  (The trick is called "Blankety Blank" in Volume X.)  This is the deluxe version with its own plastic carrying case.
